Past Internships - (This is a small list of internships we have received in the past. They in no way reflect the internships today)

  • Los Arboles - Los Arboles is seeking an Analyst of Financial Operations to support a growing real estate portfolio, which currently consists of investments in hotels, resort properties, land, development partnerships and commercial property primarily located across the United States. Summer 2008.
  • Alaska Conservation Foundation (ACF) - ACF will fund 18 competitive internship positions for summer 2008.
  • RFF - Resources for the Future offers paid internships in Washington, D.C.  Apply by March 8, 2008.  For more information go to the internship opportunities webpage at www.rff.org.
  • American Farm Bureau Federation - The American Farm Bureau Federation is seeking one student for a 2008 summer internship with the Economic Analysis Team in its Washington, DC office. Interested applicants should have completed at least their sophomore year of undergraduate coursework, with a major in agricultural economics or a related field. Apply by February 8, 2008.

  • Lee Campbell Poultry and Egg Education Foundation-The goal of the Foundation was to help create a greater awareness of the dynamic poultry industry.
  • George Washington: Pioneer Farmer Internship Program - Interpret George Washington, 18th Century agricultural methods, slavery, and 18th century economics.
  • Washington Association of Realtors - Corresponding with legislators, writing newsletter articles, undertaking legislative research and assisting the Government Affairs Department.
  • USDA - Agricultural Marketing Specialist
  • Northwest Airlines - Japanese bilingual internships

Spring 2009

    • National Garden Fellow The position will last 3 months from mid-June to mid-September. - 2009 Application - Applications must be postmarked or emailed to usbg@aoc.gov by February 6, 2009.

    • NPPC Washington, D.C. Internship Program - The National Pork Producers Council (NPPC) Washington Internship program is designed to give young leaders experience in U.S. agricultural policy – legislative, political and regulatory- at the federal level. 2008-2009

    • The Koch Associate Program is a year-long, paid program designed to develop promising leaders and entrepreneurs interested in liberty and a career in the non-profit arena. The Charles G. Koch Charitable Foundation is now accepting applications for the 2008-09 Koch Associate Program. Internships are located in Washington, D.C.
