2007 Syllabus

Course Overview

Students have the opportunity to learn about the historical and current economics of Florence.  The class has three major objectives: 

  1.  Promote student understanding and appreciation of Italian culture. 
  2. Promote students understanding of the rich history of Florence so that they can better appreciate the experience. 
  3. Promote student awareness of key agricultural commodities produced in central Italy.
