Graduate Student Travel Scholarships

We will be having a poster session of graduate student research during the SES Annual Conference on Economic Issues and Outlook, which will take place on Dec 6-7, 2007.  If you are interested in attending, especially if you would like to exhibit a poster of your research, please first talk to your major professor about funding the trip.  A limited number of competitive partial scholarships, likely in the amount of $100, will be available.  Preference will be given to those who have no alternative funding sources.   For details on applying for a travel scholarship please contact Laci Graciano.

Scholarships will be awarded based on either

1) Accepted poster for showing at the SES Annual Conference

or

2) Essay competition. The essay (maximum 1 page) should articulate your anticipated benefits from attending the conference, and must be endorsed by your advisor or the Associate Director of the SES. Submit essay by October 20, 2007 to Laci Graciano.
